Just had to comment on the Quaife diff I recently installed. Yesterday,
the 24th I got caught in the rain, and yes I still had the top down, and
yes it actually does rain on occasion in San Diego. I figured I could make
it home before it started raining. WRONG! Got me about a mile before the
house, at a light. At any rate I usually don't drive the overpowered
Spitfire when the roads are even slightly wet as the rear end would
fishtale at the slightest throttle application. Fun at first, but very
annoying at every light, turn etc. However, yesterday when leaving the
light, expecting the usual wheel spin and suprise - NONE. I even tried to
by applying a little more power than usual at the next turn, after stopping
at another light but again, no spin! Really impressive. For anyone
contemplating one of these units I can highly recommend one. They are
rather pricey but if you can afford it, they are well worth it.
