Hi All,

O.K. this question may have been asked before, but, what, if any, parts are
usable from a TR-7 on a Spit?

This is a very broad question, and I know that few parts would be direct
replacements. What I meen is swap-ins for improvement without major
re-engineering. Brakes, 5 speed tranny, etc.

I ask because I have been offered a '78 TR-7 for a song, and wonder if it
would be worth taking up space in my yard. This -7 has enough wrong with
it that it would be an expensive restoration (head warpped beyond repair,
no interior, etc), but many of the parts are still good. The rear, tranny,
and many other things look solid.

So Long,
