On a similar note, I've found that since I rarely carry passengers who
look through the right side of the windshield, the wiper blades on the
driver's side always fail first. Failure usually begins with smearing
right at eye level, since that's the part I use the most. Occasionally
taking the car out with a passenger only would probably help to equalize
the wear on our cars.
