Joe,
One postscript to my reply.  Before you unscrew the tie rod end from the
steering unit, Pit a piece of tape around the threads where the tie rod
goes.  If you are lucky, the tape will mark the placement when you
re-attach the tierod end, and the toe-in will still be set correctly.
