Joe,

Have you checked to see if the needle valve is stuck?  After I rebuilt
my carbs the rear carb developed a leak.  I discovered that the needle
valve was stuck open, allowing a continuous flow of gas into the carb. 
I cleaned it, sprayed with WD-40, checked that it worked by blowing into
the fuel line while moving the floats.  When I re-installed the carb,
the leak was gone.  Hope this helps.
