Spit A-arm failure

One of the dozen DPO's (has to be cumulative, no one clot could EVER inflict
so much on so little-sorry Sir Winston)
had busted the starboard A-arm support for the sway bar off, and managed to
learn welding at the same time he spliced
in a bit of twisted metal from somewhere. Had to hacksaw the bloody thing
off to replace the A-arm and sway bar fitting
on my '75. New A-arm from Vicky Brit, along with new rubber bushings and
bolts and good as new.
One of the upper bushings was a bolt-no rubber-just a bolt. Must have been
the source of the jarring
clang on the 1st test drive. Least that one went away after the fix...rick
