1964 Herald 1200 Convertible -- 34 years in the family next month

Always at least two since late fall of 1969

This one scared even me. In simply adding up the number of years I've
owned my various Triumphs (and I'm not even counting parts car and cars
that have long since gone to their great reward), it totals around 250
years!

I don't do all that well here. Back when the '64 Herald was new, dad
clocked a good 10,000-12,000 miles per year in it, and several others
I've driven in the past accumulated similar mileage as daily use cars.

I can't begin to compete here against many cars/owners I know of!

OK, I'm not even going to nominate the Mayflower for this award.[1]

Least expensive I can do, as several of mine have come to me gratis, as
part of the ASPCT (Andy's Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to
Triumphs) program I first initiated in the early 1970s.

[1]Now SLOWEST is an award for which I might nominate the Mayflower.
However, as I've a dear friend with a 1930 Super 7 (as well as a Mayflower
of her own), I would gladly yield the title of slowest Triumph to her 7.
