I tried but:
1. They didn't respond to email.
2. The guy didn't return my call.
3. I gave up, not realizing the unavailability of these bits.
I did not consider sending the cylinders back; I thought they wouldn't
have the parts anymore and who knows when I'd see even the cylinders
again. And in my case, the stuff's crossing the border and there's a
guy there collecting money every time anything goes by, so the duty
and postage would outweigh the cost of the missing parts in about half
a trip.
They did a great job on the cylinders; I'd just recommend to anyone
that they hang on to everything else. Someone else has responded to me
that the same thing happened to them.
And to be fair, when I initially spoke to the guy he did advise me to
keep the inside stuff. What happened though, was that just as I was
about to send them, I showed them to someone who innocently shoved the
innards back in to the cylinders. I wanted to get going on it, and I
didn't have a handy way to remove them, so I just sent them. I have
now experienced, yet again, the folly of impatience!

Jim,
Saw your post at about the time I was considering sending all three of my
cylinders to White Post. Not very encouraging. Did you consider calling
them or sending the cylincders back for them to make it right?
