All this talk of TR 7's...

I had a late model white TR 7 coupe for a number of years... My
brother bought it when it was new. I bought it from him. I took it
with me to Dallas, Texas, where I was involved with the Red River
Triumphs for a bit... then I moved on to florida with it... Sarasota...
where I sold it.

It was a great car. I had very few problems with it. The air
conditioning leaked for a while... finally solved that. The headlamp
relays burnt out all the time... until I replaced them in Radio Shack
relays... for about $1.99 each. The catalyitic converted died on me...
I replaced it with a header.... the Stromburgs were a pain... I replaced
them with S.U.s that I ordered from TriumphTune in England (mid '80's)..

Overall... it was a turn-key Triumph... surviving a nasty winter in
Dallas (1984?) and hurricane weather in Florida. I liked it a lot...
and I would have kept it... IF it had been a convertible!

QUESTION: Anyone own or seen my TR 7? There's a great story behind the
sale... which I'll tell another time.
