TR6 Interior lighting question

Greetings all,

I have a 1974 TR6 and was wondering where exactly the interior lights
should be. The previous owner to the car had them taped with electrical
tape to the underside of the dash and glove box.  I've seen transmission
tunnel lights (parts) advertised, but am not sure exactly where they are
supposed to be housed.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
