I need the two seals for the PDWA piston on my
TR-250.

Mine are cup-shaped with an ID of about 2mm and an
OD of about 8mm. The width is about 5mm.

No one I've talked to at TRF, Moss, local garages,
parts stores and a hydraulic equipment supplier
has seen seals like these.

The PDWA O-rings described in the VTR maintenance
handbook won't fit. Neither do the O-rings
supplied for this purpose by Moss. Typical O-rings
with the correct OD are too wide at the ID.
O-rings with the right ID are too small at the OD.
Mine is the late-type, single-piston unit but it
does not have the circlips, O-rings, sleeves and
cap as depicted on the VTR page.

This is to stop a leak through the PDWA switch. My
alternatives are removing the piston and replacing
the switch with a plug, thereby defeating the PDWA
and the tandem hydraulic system, or buying a new
unit for about $160. I'm willing to plug the
switch opening for the rest of the summer while I
look for seals, and I found a bolt that fits, but
it leaks. I was unable to find a plug that fits.
Is there a thread sealer that resists DOT 4 brake
fluid?

I want to get this car back on the road – any
advice is appreciated!!!
