I replaced the inside components on my slave cylinder recently, and the

Robert, apparently it's the season to be rebuilding the slave cylinders.
When through the same this weekend rebuilt the slave due to an obvious leak
and still had problems, then rebuilt master and it drove great for the
first day - then on Monday started having problems shifting. Took back
over to a friend who's been helping me tonite and we re-bled the lines and
got a little air out. Also moved the slave connection to the top hole on
the lever and car shifted better than when I first bought it. If I have
problems again, believe I'll replace the master cylinder.

Also to the list all the manuals refer to DOT 3 for the clutch but on the
TR WWW site I see use only DOT 4 - which I can't seem to locate. Can
someone explain the difference and what will DOT 3 do to the seals I just
replaced. Thanks

Thanks
