Shifting my '74 TR6 is fine when first starting out. When things warm
up, however, shifting becomes progressively more difficult due to
resistance. At its worst, I have trouble shifting into 1st, and trying
for reverse is a teeth gnashing experience. I replaced the clutch, found
the throw-out bearing a bit noisy. The problem persists, and I suspect
the master cylinder as the slave is only 4 years old. Any thoughts?
Anyone know what the throw at the clutch operating shaft should be if
master and slave are working correctly?
