Listers,

Ever since I had a really nice silver 280Z stolen, I've dreamed of putting
a coupla sticks of dynamite under the driver's seat, and put in a "kill"
switch that's really a "KILL" switch. I can just picture it -- at 2am the
car is driven quietly out of your driveway and down the street. Suddenly
you hear, "KABOOM!" End of story.

Hello all just wanted to chime in here. One of the best theft deterrents
that I have ever seen was a piece of rubber hose. The owner cut the hose to
the length of his coil wire, attached two old ignition boots with their
connectors and would put the dummy wire in and take the real coil wire with
him whenever he would park the thing. Granted that if the thief was REALLY
determined he would eventually find the problem but most thieves will leave
if they can't get your car in less than two minutes. REALLY determined
thieves can get your car no matter what you do to protect it. I've heard of
some really brazen thieves using flatbed tow trucks!!!! Regards Craig
