TR6 engine colors

I have just purchased my first TR after about 10 years of 
sitting on a poor mans fence. It's a 73' TR6, could anyone
tell me if it originally came with an interior tunnel lamp?
the serial # is CF. What about engine colors, the valve cover is 
painted silver and the block, well I can't tell? The car is in fine
shape but I would like to know any info that you experts out there can
share.
