Well, since you asked, I prefer the MKII, specifically the 1970 model year.
It has all the refinements, including the rotoflex suspension, TR6 block
and head, very little in the way of emission controls, plus it has unique
styling touches like the distinctive licence plate/backup cluster found
only on 70 GT6's (and Spitfires) for instance, that make it just a tad
different than all the other models. When I went looking I went looking
specifically for a '70-
