Hi,

What is bad about TR6 wheels??

Soft metal. They bend really easily.

The center section where the lugs go are prone to cracking. Look closely at
other wheels in this area - there is usually some sort of raised section
there on other wheels. TR6's have more or less a flat section here. The
wheels tend to crack there under heavy stress.

The welds where the center section attaches to the outer rim can also crack,
although I've never seen this...

They really are not that great to start with.

Like I said in a previous post - look into Panasports. Keep the stock rims
for the "original red-lines". ;-)

That having been said - I've got about 100k miles on my rims. They are not
straight anymore, but they balance okay and they don't rub on anything. I
probably won't autocross on them anymore, though - I've got a few sets of
mags for that. Nothing a few thousand $$$ won't fix.

Later,
rml
