Wheel cylinders

Listers,

I am in the process of replacing the wheel cylinders on my 76 TR6. I have
obtained the new cylinders and have a question about installation. When I
removed the wheel cylinders the dust boot was underneath the spring plate (was
adjacent to the backing plate) but it appears in my manual that the dust boot
fits outboard of the spring plate and the retaining clip. What is the correct
order for these items?
Another rookie question. I have been reviewing the lubrication schecule and
procedures in my Haynes manual and it calls for rear axle lubrication but I
cannot identify any place for lubrication. I know there must be something I
am missing so any hints would be valuable. Finally, in order to drain the
differential oil, is the correct procedure to suction the old oil out or
remove the plate on the diff for a complete drain. I do not have a drain plug
in the diff, but if I remove the plate I may have one installed. Many thanks
for any advice.
