I am restoring a MK IV, which has had the commission plates (all of them!)torn
off it while in a scrap yard. I have written to BMIHT and am paitiently
waiting, and
hoping they can find something on this car.
I suspect its a '71 or '72. I wonder if any of you Spitfire owners
could give
me an approximation based on:
Triumph Spitfire MK IV
Commission No. missing
Body No. missing
Chassis No. FC183719
Differential No. FH3391
Engine No. FK3171HE
Transmission No. ? (covered by tunnel)
Original colour Dark Green
I bought it in Canada, so it might have different suffixes than the US cars.
Any guesses would be appeciated.
