A comapny that does dashboard restorations here in New Zealand (where we
have a very high UV problem in the Summer) swear by Baby Oil - the same
stuff you buy in the supermarket. No chemicals to break down the vinyls but
plenty of oil to keep the vinyls nice and supple.

You should only need to apply the oil once or maybe twice a year. I use it
myself and have found it very beneficial on the wood as well - I highly
recommend the stuff.
