Oil Change-Notify the EPA

        Listerati,

        In the interest of science, I just filled my original
thirty-something
engine with Mobil 1 oil, full synthetic 15W-50. It leaked oil somewhat
before
this madness, and it burned some past the valve guides, courtesy of my
top-end oiler line. Film at 11.

        Please note: Although I brought up both synthetic oil and top-
end oilers, I refrained from mentioning which type of spin-on oil filter I 
used.
