TR3 Lower Windscreen Seal

Hello all,
I am now fitting the original windscreen after a very enjoyable and breezy
summer of driving with Brooklands screens.  My question is : the lower seal
can be installed canted foreward or rearward. I am just not positive which
way it goes. Rearward would force it down for a tighter seal (we wouldn't
want that) but foreward seems right.
