I used to transport a 15' canoe on my TR4A with no problem, as long as the top
was down. I used a thick piece of foam rubber on the boot and another on the
windscreen frame, and tied the boat down with bungie cords. It fit perfectly.
By the way, the New Orleans yacht club used to have an MGA that was used for
moving boats around the yard. A trailer hitch stuck up through the left rear
fender.
