Funny you should mention this, I was getting tired of my blinkers
slowing down when I had
all the lights on and accessories. I decided to replace the bimettallic
blinker with an
electronic type. I got a generic TRIDON from Pep Boys for $8. It has 2
terminals just like
the original, but it is a different shape (round instead of oblong). So
I bent the 
original bracket to fit. This made a world of difference, the flash rate
is constant now, no
matter what load I have on the battery. It also has a louder click,
which is something I
wanted.
