Header vs. stock 4A manifold

Chris,

I have a stock manifold on my 4A.  Since I need an exhaust
system, I was considering ordering the sports package from
Rimmer, which includes a 4-into-1 header.  Your comment 
makes me think that the header won't buy me much power.  
Could you elaborate on your reasoning?
