Took one of my side flange bearings in to the local Bearings Inc. today.
This guy says Timken doesn't make plain roller bearing such as those used
in this application... (they only make tapered roller bearings) but, he did
find several manufacturers of the proper dimension roller bearing.
I see that TRF sells this bearing for $21.95, and I thought that was pretty
high and figured that the local bearing man could give me the bearing I
needed for a much better price.
Fat chance! These guys want $39 each!! Hope one of the "Big Three" has
'em in stock!!
