For those who know Dave Massey personally or by reputation, this is to let
you all know he and Linda have arrived. They both had the five bob tour of
the factory site in Coventry this evening and we were joined by Rich outside
the Standard Triumph Social Club in quite the most amazingly transparent
Spitfire ever seen by anyone. Dave rode in it to The Virgins pub in
Kenilworth and spent most of his time with one hand on the windshield and
the other on the rear deck. This seemed to work quite well in holding both
ends together but it meant he was unable to cross himself and invoke Divine
intervention for a safe deliverance.
