The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust will, for a small fee, do a search
on your car. They will then supply a certificate (suitable for framing). I
understand that at present this service is for TR3B onwards.
On the certificate it details the chassis number, engine number, body
number, specification, colour, date built, date despatched, destination
dealer, key numbers, details of equipment fitted ie heater, wires, white
walls, etc.

They can be contacted at:

Archive Department,
Heritage Motor Centre,
Banbury Road,
Gaydon,
Warwick,
CV35 0BJ.
United Kingdom.

The fee is £25 (cheque payable to BMIHT) You must include the
commission/chassis number, model and year.
If you want to see one I will gladly scan mine for your perusal.

Dixie
