Agree with Martin. Took my Stag to "Gary's Driveline" in Daytona Beach, Fl.
Amazing -- but that's what he does for a living. He tested the car by
driving it, identified the problem, replaced the drive shaft and U-joints and
cured the whole problem in less than 2 hours. The price was right and I
didn't even get my hands dirty. He even took me under the lift and showed me
exactly what the problem was. When I asked him if he did engine or clutch
work he looked at me as if I were crazy and said "NO". But he did refer me
to several other places for those things. My wife's comment when I told her
was "Well, you have entered their world." ["Their" being the world of the
specialist] Cheers.
