TR2/early TR3 seat cushions

Some sources have claimed that TR2 seat cushions were more "square" at the
front corners than the early TR3 cushions (later TR3 seats being completely
different in all respects). Does anyone here have any thoughts on this? The
factory parts manual suggests no change in the seat cushions until the late
TR3 seats. Bill Piggott's book seems to concur.
