Hey Listers,
I just spent a week in the Southern California area at a computer
class. While there, I got together with Randall for a beer and Italian food,
which was lots of fun. It was the first time we've meet, although we
frequently correspond over the list. We compared photos and cars, and
enjoyed each others company talking about TR-3's. It is interesting to see a
TR-3 like Randall's that is driven everyday. They just keep soldiering
along. Randall is a great guy.
It was fun to meet a fellow lister.
I would encourage listers to include their cities of residence on their
emails. You never know where people will end up. Heck, I've even spent time
on Johnston Island (Atoll) where Brad Kahler is currently working (find that
on a map).
I would also encourage fellow listers to include the subject car of
their emails on the subject line for easier scanning down the summary.
Having said that, I'll bet the only ones reading this email are TR-3
pilots...
I would enjoy getting together with any listers passing through the
greater Tehachapi area. Actually, that is just a joke. No one ever stops
here unless they have the "Willoughby" experience from the Twilight Zone.
Truthfully, if any listers are ever stuck in Bakersfield or Mojave (it
happens), look me up as I only live an hour away. I periodically pass
through other states and would enjoy meeting up with other listers as well.
