Newsgroup vs. Mail List - Idea for digest version

I have dropped into the background and only recieve the list in digest form.
I don't see a problem with the list as it is per se, but would suggest that
an improvement to the digest would be to sort documents first according to
subject and then secondly according to chronological order.  I think that
would significantly improve the value of the digest.

Having said that, I appreciate the effort that is already going into the
list, and do not want to create more work for Mark Bradakis who is already
doing a tremendous job for the group.
