Don't you have to have a special pump? There are warnings on most pumps not
to be used with flammable liquids.

Ken,
Buy an electric fuel pump and some fuel hose and pump it out via the fuel
filler. I had to do that on the TR3 when the fuel line got plugged by the
silicone gasket sealer the DPO used to seal the fuel sender (But that's
another storey).
And it's always handy to have a fuel pump around.
