FWIW, over on the Audi list there was a long quote from Welt
am Sonntag, the gist of which is that BMW is receiving a LOT
of bad PR from the German press over the shambles they've
made of trying to sell off Rover. Apparently a pretty nasty
stain is growing on the managements' collective reputations,
with charges of arrogance and the inability to understand
that negotiations involve trying to understand the other
guy.
(not that it'll matter a tinker's d*mn....)
