Dan,

On a 1980 Spitfire the fill bolt is on the right side of the transmission.
It is almost straight up from the drain plug.

It can be gotten to from underneath.  It helps to have a girlfriend with
small hands that is willing to crawl under the car to replace the plug.

I would use the 80-90.
