Okay, short of an engine rebuild and new rings, what's everyone's favorite
method of reducing oil burning in your Triumph. I just noticed for the
first time today on the freeway that at higher RPM's (over 4,000) I was
intermittently seeing smoke in my rear view mirror. Very faintly blue, it
looked like. It's not a big problem yet, but something I'd like to
address, economically for now, if possible. I figure my rings are going,
but the rest of the engine is running strong and I don't feel like benching
it just yet. Any quick and dirty remedies on the shelf at my local auto
parts store?

TIA!

Best wishes,

Jeff in San Diego
