Hi Irv:

I have confirmed (from a nice e-mail from Eric Wilhelm of Moss Motors) that
I was sent the 'correct' box, but the 'EARS' on my TR4 are just 1/8" -1/4"
too tight. The day my TR was made, I guess someone 'eyeballed' the placement,
instaed of using a template. Remember Jay and the Americans "Only in
America" - well another LBC Typical Triumph Tribulation, so what else is NU?
Gives us something to talk about!!

I think I will follow your suggestion and with a dremel tool cutting disc,
divide the box between ribs. Then depending upon a few battery sizes, will
either overlap on a rib or just adjacent to a rib and reseal the two halves
with the Black 3M weatherstrip adhesive.

The box is so well made, it would be foolish, over the long run, not to use
it.
