Hi Bob... Since the usual method of mounting and dismounting a TR3 has
always been to support oneself from the top of the stanchion, it's easy to
understand why so many are bent.  I doubt if a tight top could do it, but
years of improper mounting could.  Sometimes just one large person pulling
themselves out of the seat is enough to bend one.
