Has anyone else on the list seen the rally passing through Canada and
the
eastern US besides Jim Wallace? By now they were scheduled to be in New
Jersey. I was hoping there would be some coverage on TV, but I saw
none.
I guess it was one of those interesting events that does not make the
news
because it is not sensational enough.

Hi Jay!
Yes, I was there @ Niagria Falls July 4th & 5th. I couple of my car
club members were ther Helping out one of the Healy's, & I was tring to
help out Do Meeus [Jag XK 140] contact a couple of club members to help
him find a singal line Master Cylinder for his brakes. I don't think he
had much luck because He didn't start up his car when the rest of the
cars were leaving. I jumped in the pack as the drove up to cross the
Lewiston/Queston Bridge. After the passed through customs, they pulled
off to the side of the thruway to then be clocked & sent off in 1 min.
intervials. I had a good time running with them Until they got to within
about 5 miles of my house, then I turned off. I ran out of oil to put in
my TR4/A's engine. It's still orginial & yes it does consum a Lot of oil
[4qt. that day, before I turn around & went home.
They drove very calmly when on the main roads, BUT when on the side
roads, they did pick up the pace. :>) -Cosmo Kramer
