Spit/GT6 Front Springs

I have found a set of new (old) front springs for a Spitfire or GT6.
Specs are:
OD:3.5"
Color: black with light blue stripe
Free length: 12.25"
Wire Diam: .410"
Coils: 11
My question: might these springs be suitable for my Mk I GT6 convertable?  
I'd like to lower the front of the car, but want adequate spring force for 
the heavier engine.
How about this one, Andy?
