George- Are you sure its the mounts and not the exhaust pipe 'touching'
the frame at certain decelleration harmonics?

Subject: Gearbox Mounts

Last winter I installed a new (Moss) gearbox mount in my TR4A. In
driving
the car
since then, the driveline vibrates on decelleration, as if the mount is
made
of rubber which is too soft. I usually shift to neutral and coast to a
light
or corner, an unorthodox driving style! Has anyone had this experience,
and
can I buy a mount
made of harder rubber somewhere? How about the front mounts - similar
problem?
Thanks!
George Haynes
