First of all thanks to all that helped me over the past several months with
my clutch and carburetor problems with my 75 TR6.
I never did get it to work right. Anyway, I learned that if you are not
mechanically inclined owning a 75 TR6 can be an expensive proposition and
believe me it was. I loved the car but couldnt handle having it in the
repair shop constantly. I fell victim to believing that each time would
totally resolve my problems and it didnt.
Anyway, I traded it last weekend for a 1999 BMW M Roadster and am loving it
to death, the best of which it still has 3 years left on the warranty. No
more expenses in the short term. If anyone wants a good deal on a Bentley
TR250/TR6, Haynes Zenith Stromberg Carb/SU carb Tech Manual, or William
Kimberly's TR6 book (all like new) I would take $40. plus shipping for all
three of them. Email me separately if you might be interested.
