I had my TR8 body dipped and it did not remove the undercoating. I had to
remove it with a putty knife and a heat gun. Had I but known, I would have
done that beforehand. If your guy says it takes it off, good for him (and
you).
Oh, and remove all aluminum, too. The dipping disolved the rivets holding
on a panel and I had to re-rivet.
