On the TR4s that did not have the plug, was the oil filler in the front or rear
?
Were the cars known to have originally been destined for the USA, or as Jonmac
suggests, some other market (presumably without the threat of the closed
crankcase option having to be added at the dealer) ?
If you're going to research these things, might as well finish the job !
