Peter...I do not believe your 'hieny' will get rubbed wrong on this list.
I for one, have never understood the reluctance of suppliers such as MOSS in
revealing the source of their parts! Unless things in retail/wholesale have
changed a WHOLE bunch it has always been the case that companies (such as
MOSS) buy at such quantities that they get a good enough price that they can
still reap a profit while reselling at a somewhat affordable price to the
general public. Correct me if I am wrong, but I doubt I could purchase (from
Skinner)such items as the seat springs for the same price you (MOSS) can.
Plus, we, as customers of MOSS , etc., have the convenience of seeing many
parts from many different manufacturers in one place...sourcing and buying
are done for us. Yes, there is a price associated with this but then we ARE
NOT forced to buy your products.
I for one, thank you for being forthwith and laying the cards on the
table.....
