I actually cheated and reused the TR6 fan belt. The trick is to hook the
belt on the pulley and then bolt up the alternator. Kinda bass-ackwards, but
it works.
I had a brand new belt and I'm to cheap to toss good parts.
When this belt wears out, I'll buy one about 1 1/2 inches (@36mm) longer.
Most fan belts are sold buy length, so a longer one should be easy to buy.
