Rick,
        I did these on a TR6.  I used TRF parts.
        The easy way is: first remove your engine.  Then remove the  
pedal box and throttle shaft. 
        If you want to do it the hard way, I think you could work from 
inside the footwells.  Heat the bushings in hot water to soften them.  
Then, cut them in half accross their diameter and that should make an 
impossible job merely difficult.
