Hi everyone,

There are some cam bearings on ebay for a TR3 but the picture
shows a split running all the the way through the shell. The
ones which are in the engine now (probably original) and the
ones pictures in the Moss catalog are solid rings with a couple
of holes for the set screw and the oil passage. Do cam bearings
come with splits in them now a days? Also, how hard is it to
line up the set screw holes in the bearings with those in the
block?

Another question I have is how tough is it to replace the core
plugs in the block and head and not have them leak? Should some
kind of sealer be used when installing new ones?

Thanks,
Drew
