     Do check, as suggested, the position of the bleeder screw.  It should be
     on the top.  If it's not, you can probably just swap the connectors in
     the holes; not need to rotate the cylinder

Rotate the cylinder.  The inlet fitting and the bleed screw use different
sealing designs.  Basically one is concave and one convex.
