Hi Dietmar
One method I have used to get air out of a clutch is to press the pedal so
the clutch is under pressure, then slacken the bleed nipple and let the
action of the clutch diaphragm returning the cylinder expel the air. You do
need to lock the bleeder before air has a chance to enter, if possible
before the piston stops moving! you have to be quick!

| Actually it is a little different from brakes. Do check, as suggested,
the
| position of the bleeder screw. It should be on the top. If it's not, you
| can probably just swap the connectors in the holes; not need to rotate the
| cylinder.
